God's Kinda Woman

God's Kinda Woman is:
  • Strong in the Lord

We have this treasure from God, but we are like clay jars that hold the treasure.

This shows that the great power is from God, not from us.

2 Corinthians 4:7 (NCV)

  • Dedicated in her heart

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.

Proverbs 3:5 (NLT)

  • Transformed utterly

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)

  • Childlike in her trust

I Tell you the truth, you must accept the kingdom of God as if you were a child,

or you will never enter it.

Luke 18:17 (NCV)

  • Joyful in her strengths

I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed,

but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body,

whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

Philippians 1:20-21 (NIV)

  • Victorious in her weaknesses

Each time He said, "My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness."

2 Corinthians 12:9a (NLT)

  • Battle ready

Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.

Ephesians 6:10 (NLT)

REMEMBER:

I pray that from His glorious unlimited resources

He will empower you with inner strength through His Spirit.

Then Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in Him.

Your roots will grow down into God's love and keep you strong.

And may you have the power to understand as all God's people should,

how wide,

how long,

how high,

and how deep His love is.

May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully.

Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

Ephesians 3:16-19 (NLT)

Amen. One of my favorite verses is 1 Peter 3:3....about how our beauty should not come from outward dornment, but from the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit. I love that. Letting God's light shine will make us beautiful.

Thanks for the post!
